My name is Roma Bankowski, and I am a contemporary abstract artist based in the United Kingdom. My creative journey is a continuous search for the invisible—a translation of internal emotions, fleeting thoughts, and the raw energy of nature into a visual language of texture and color.

For me, abstract art is the ultimate form of honesty. Each collection represents a different chapter of my internal dialogue. In "Strength and Beauty", I explore the resilience of the human spirit. In "Fragments of Light" and "Whispers of Nature & Light", I focus on the ephemeral moments where the outside world touches our soul, using light as a symbol of hope and clarity.

My work often balances between two worlds: the loud, vibrant energy of passion—seen in pieces like "Fire and Gold"—and the profound, healing power of stillness found in my "Silents" series. I am deeply fascinated by what lies "Beneath the Surface", whether I am exploring the mystery of the feminine essence in "She" or the complex layers of human identity in "The Mask That We Wear".

Using acrylics and mixed media, I build my canvases layer by layer, much like we build our own experiences. The rich textures and carefully chosen palettes are designed to evoke a visceral response, inviting you to stop, breathe, and find your own reflection in the abstraction.

My mission is to create art that resonates with your personal story. I want my paintings to be more than just objects on a wall—I want them to be a source of strength, a whisper of peace, and a mirror to your own beautiful, unseen world.
